Norwegian EMS Provider Kitron Secures New Orders

Kitron ASA’s subsidiary Kitron AS in Arendal (Norway) has received new orders within the medical equipment segment of about NOK67m (€7.1m). Deliveries will take place in the first half of 2011.

Kitron is a leading international electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider for the data/telecoms, defence, energy, industry, medical equipment and offshore/marine sectors. The company is located in Norway, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, China and the US. Kitron had a revenue of about €220m in 2009 and has about 1,100 employees.
