Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in June 2021
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 65.64% in June 2021, a 7.02% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 16.58% in June 2021, marking a 21.25% month-on-month an increase. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 6.67% in June 2021, a 5.41% growth from May 2021.

Top five medical companies in Asia-Pacific’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 12.36% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s medical industry during June 2021 over previous month.
Danaher posted 65 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a decline of 38.1% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 49 jobs and a 53.13% growth. Sartorius with 47 IT jobs and GE Healthcare with 35 jobs, recorded a 74.07% growth and a 52.05% drop, respectively, while Alcon recorded a 40.91% an increase with 31 job postings during June 2021.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s medical industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 45.64% share in June 2021, an 11.59% decline over May 2021. China featured next with an 18.12% share, down 10.92% over the previous month. Australia recorded a 10.94% share, a growth of 100% compared with May 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.44%, down by 21.68% from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.23% share, a growth of 22.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 13.33% share, up 77.27% over May 2021.
