US-based company Becton Dickinson and’s IT hiring declined 33.0% in July 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 36.89% in July 2021 when compared with June 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 7.02% share in the company’s total hiring activity in July 2021, and recorded a 0.13% down over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Becton Dickinson and IT hiring in July 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Becton Dickinson and, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 63.04% in July 2021, and a 42.38% drop over June 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 10.87% in July 2021, and registered a 58.33% decline. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 7.97% in July 2021, a 59.26% drop from June 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Becton Dickinson and

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in July 2021 with a 74.64% share, which marked a 52.53% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 13.77%, registering a 13.64% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with an 11.59% share and a 40.74% drop over June 2021.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 72.46% share in July 2021, a 53.92% decline over June 2021. India featured next with a 6.52% share, up 28.57% over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead Becton Dickinson and IT hiring activity in July 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 52.9%, down by 53.5% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 37.68% share, a decline of 31.58% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.97% share, down 63.33% over June 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 1.45%, recording a month-on-month decline of 60%.
