US-based company Becton Dickinson and’s IT hiring rose 9.3% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.97% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 7.97% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.39% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Becton Dickinson and IT hiring in August 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Becton Dickinson and, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.34% in August 2021, and an 11% drop over July 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 24.47% in August 2021, and registered growth of 206.67%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 11.7% in August 2021, a 100% rise from July 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Becton Dickinson and
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in August 2021 with an 80.85% share, which marked a 47.57% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 18.09%, registering a 6.25% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 1.06% share and an 87.5% drop over July 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 79.26% share in August 2021, a 49% growth over July 2021. India featured next with an 11.17% share, down 4.55% over the previous month. Singapore recorded a 4.26% share, an increase of 14.29% compared with July 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Becton Dickinson and IT hiring activity in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.51%, up by 35.8% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 28.72% share, a decline of 5.26% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.57% share, up 63.64% over July 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 3.19%, recording a month-on-month increase of 200%.
