China medical industry registered a 0.5% decline in IT hiring activity in July 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 3.54% in July 2021 compared with June 2021.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.9% share in July 2021, recording decrease of 0.42% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China medical industry in July 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 77.48% in July 2021, a 24.64% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 15.32% share, an increase of 6.25% over the previous month.
3) Computer Support Specialists held a share of 5.41%, registering a 57.14% decline from June 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 0.9%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in China IT recruitment activity in July 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 139.02% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China medical industry during July 2021 over June 2021.
GE Healthcare posted 51 IT jobs in July 2021 and registered a rise of 292.31% over the previous month, followed by Danaher with 20 jobs and a 400% growth. PerkinElmer with 12 IT jobs and Thermo Fisher Scientific with 9 jobs, recorded a 9.09% growth and a 30.77% decline, respectively, while Winner Medical Group recorded a flat growth with 6 job postings during July 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 85.59%, up by 30.14% from June 2021. Mid Level positions with a 9.01% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.41% share, down 68.42% over June 2021.
