IT jobs claimed a 7.48% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 0.21% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Abbott Laboratories IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Abbott Laboratories , Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.08% in November 2021, and a 21.14% drop over October 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.98% in November 2021, and registered growth of 81.82%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.38% in November 2021, a 27.27% rise from October 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Abbott Laboratories
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 65.87% share, which marked a 3.51% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 19.16%, registering a 28% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.37% share and a 35.14% drop over October 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.6% and a month-on-month decline of 80%.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 63.47% share in November 2021, a 3.64% decline over October 2021. India featured next with an 8.38% share, up 40% over the previous month. Ireland recorded a 7.19% share, a decline of 20% compared with October 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Abbott Laboratories IT hiring activity in November 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.08%, down by 16.39% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 29.34% share, a growth of 22.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.58% share, down 20% over October 2021.
