The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.93% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 11.88% share in July 2022, recording an increase of 0.32% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 15.38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Canada’s medical industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Sonova posted 27 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a rise of 12.5% over the previous month, followed by Agilent Technologies with 6 jobs and a 500% growth. Danaher with 6 IT jobs and AlayaCare with 4 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a 33.33% growth, respectively, while Thermo Fisher Scientific recorded a decline of 77.78% with 2 job postings during July 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 50%, down by 40.74% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 31.25% share, registered an increase of 100% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 18.75% share, up 33.33% over June 2022.
