US-based company Danaher’s IT hiring declined 18.9% in October 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 15.9% in October 2021 when compared with September 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 12.05% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2021, and recorded a 0.25% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in October 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.12% in October 2021, and a 46.52% drop over September 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 11.62% in October 2021, and registered a decline of 17.86%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.61% in October 2021, a 41.67% drop from September 2021.
North America drives IT hiring at Danaher
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in October 2021 with a 50.51% share, which marked a 44.13% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 25.25%, registering a 57.26% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 22.73% share and a 30.77% drop over September 2021.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.01% and a month-on-month increase of 100%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.51%, registering an 85.71% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 45.45% share in October 2021, a 47.67% decline over September 2021. India featured next with a 20.2% share, down 47.37% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 6.57% share, an increase of 8.33% compared with September 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in October 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.19%, down by 35.07% from September 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.69% share, a decline of 66.06% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.62% share, down 52.08% over September 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.51%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
