US-based company Danaher’s IT hiring declined 22.3% in December 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 13.94% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 10.62% share in the company’s total hiring activity in December 2021, and recorded a 1.64% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in December 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.98% in December 2021, and a 38.04% drop over November 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 13.26% in December 2021, and registered growth of 50%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.39% in December 2021, a 22.73% drop from November 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Danaher

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in December 2021 with a 38.67% share, which marked a flat growth over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 35.36%, registering a 49.61% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 23.76% share and a 23.21% drop over November 2021.

In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.1% and a month-on-month decline of 60%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.1%, registering a 100% rise over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 37.02% share in December 2021, a 6.35% growth over November 2021. India featured next with a 17.68% share, down 70.09% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.73% share, an increase of 40% compared with November 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in December 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.61%, down by 34.38% from November 2021. Mid Level positions with a 17.68% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.71% share, up 21.05% over November 2021.
