US-based company Danaher’s IT hiring rose 16.7% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 15.36% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 9.96% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.48% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in August 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 56.94% in August 2022, and a 28.13% rise over July 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 15.28% in August 2022, and registered growth of 15.79%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.42% in August 2022, a 15.38% rise from July 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at Danaher

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 54.86% share, which marked an 83.72% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 25.69%, registering a 13.95% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 17.36% share and a 19.05% rise over July 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.08% and a month-on-month increase of 200%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 53.47% share in August 2022, a 108.11% growth over July 2022. India featured next with an 18.75% share, down 25% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 6.25% share, an increase of 28.57% compared with July 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.94%, up by 28.13% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.31% share, a growth of 34.62% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 18.75% share, up 50% over July 2022.
