US-based company Danaher’s IT hiring rose 4.2% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.65% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 11.99% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 0.3% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Danaher IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Danaher, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 62.13% in September 2021, and an 11.7% rise over August 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 11.54% in September 2021, and registered growth of 25.81%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.06% in September 2021, an 112.5% rise from August 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Danaher

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 47.34% share, which marked a 2.44% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 32.84%, registering a 20.65% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 17.46% share and a 31.11% rise over August 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.07% and a month-on-month flat growth. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.3%, registering a 50% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 45.56% share in September 2021, a 3.14% decline over August 2021. India featured next with a 21.6% share, up 12.31% over the previous month. China recorded a 5.03% share, a decline of 22.73% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Danaher IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.51%, up by 7.91% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 31.07% share, a growth of 17.98% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.43% share, up 13.51% over August 2021.
