The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 26.34% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Demant IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Demant, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 75.24% in August 2022, and a 39.23% drop over July 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 12.38% in August 2022, and registered growth of 44.44%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 4.76% in August 2022, a 70.59% drop from July 2022.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 60.95% share, which marked a 30.43% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 28.57%, registering a 37.5% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 10.48% share and a 31.25% drop over July 2022.
Poland commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 41.9% share in August 2022, a 40.54% decline over July 2022. US featured next with a 28.57% share, down 37.5% over the previous month. Denmark recorded a 14.29% share, a decline of 11.76% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Demant IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.1%, down by 32.23% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 20% share, a decline of 40% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 1.9% share, flat growth over July 2022.
