Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in March 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 70.93% in March 2022, a 1.42% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 10% in March 2022, marking an 18.8% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 8.06% in March 2022, a 9.38% drop from February 2022.

Top five medical companies in Europe’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 6.88% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s medical industry during March 2022 over previous month.
Sonova posted 166 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a decline of 14.87% over the previous month, followed by William Demant Holding with 126 jobs and an 18.87% growth. Demant with 126 IT jobs and Sartorius with 49 jobs, recorded an 18.87% rise and a 40% rise, respectively, while Thermo Fisher Scientific recorded a 21.05% increase with 46 job postings during March 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s medical industry
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 26.94% share in March 2022, a 2.68% decrease over February 2022. Switzerland featured next with a 15.83% share, down 21.2% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 14.91% share, a drop of 26.15% compared with February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.59%, down by 8.18% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with a 17.87% share, registered a growth of 0.52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 14.54% share, up 5.37% over February 2022.
