Germany’s medical industry registered a 3.4% drop in IT hiring activity in April 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 27.18% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.89% share in April 2022, recording a decrease of 2.16% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 103.25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry in April 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60.16% in April 2022, registering a 22.92% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 19.51% share, a decrease of 12.73% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15.45%, registering a 35.71% rise from March 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 4.88%, up 200% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in April 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 23.81% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry during April 2022 over March 2022.
Fresenius SEKGaA posted 63 IT jobs in April 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by medi GmbHKG with 35 jobs and a 22.22% drop. Sartorius with 30 IT jobs and Carl Zeiss with 16 jobs, recorded a 9.09% decline and a 63.64% decrease, respectively, while Dragerwerk AGKGaA recorded an increase of 200% with 12 job postings during April 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.89%, down by 15.66% from March 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.17% share, registered a decline of 1.72% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.94% share, down 46.34% over March 2022.
