India’s medical industry registered a 4.0% rise in IT hiring activity in November 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 15.14% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 28.22% share in November 2021, recording a decrease of 4.48% over the last three-month average share.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 78.01% in November 2021, registering a 26.91% growth over the previous month.

2) Computer and Information Analysts claimed a 7.14% share, an increase of 90% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.95%, registering a 48% rise from October 2021.

4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 6.02%, up 60% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in November 2021

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 52.11% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s medical industry during November 2021 over October 2021.

Danaher posted 107 IT jobs in November 2021 and registered a rise of 167.5% over the previous month, followed by GE Healthcare with 87 jobs and a 58.18% growth. Demant with 51 IT jobs and Thermo Fisher Scientific with 42 jobs, recorded a 15.91% growth and a 250% growth, respectively, while Medtronic recorded a decline of 40.32% with 37 job postings during November 2021.

Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.26%, up by 25.64% from October 2021. Mid Level positions with a 39.47% share, registered an increase of 56.72% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 5.08% share, down 28.95% over October 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.19%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
