Mexico’s medical industry registered a 2.3% drop in IT hiring activity in September 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.65% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 10.46% share in September 2022, recording a decrease of 1.56% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Mexico’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s medical industry in September 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 42.86% in September 2022, registering a 35.71% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 23.81% share, an increase of 150% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 23.81%, registering a 400% rise from August 2022.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 9.52%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Mexico’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 26.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s medical industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Insulet posted 6 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 500% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 4 jobs and a 69.23% drop. Medtronic with 3 IT jobs and Align Technology with 3 jobs, recorded a 200% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Hinge Health recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, up by 7.69% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.57% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 4.76% share, down 80% over August 2022.
