Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 44.44% in August 2022, a 20% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 27.78% in August 2022, marking a 25% month-on-month increase. In the third place was Computer Support Specialists with a share of 16.67% in August 2022, a flat growth from July 2022.

MediSafe Project posted 4 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Bruker with 3 jobs and a 200% growth. Medtronic with 2 IT jobs and Asensus Surgical with 1 jobs, recorded a 50% drop and a flat growth, respectively, while Variantyx recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during August 2022.

Israel commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 66.67% share in August 2022, a flat growth over July 2022. United Arab Emirates featured next with an 11.11% share, down 33.33% over the previous month. Saudi Arabia recorded a 5.56% share, a flat growth compared with July 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 44.44%, down by 50% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 33.33% share, registered a growth of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 22.22% share, flat growth over July 2022.
