Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 52.63% in June 2022, a 66.67% rise over the previous month. Computer Support Specialists came in next, claiming a share of 21.05% in June 2022, marking a flat month-on-month increase. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 10.53% in June 2022, a 75% drop from May 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average growth of 500% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Middle East & Africa’s medical industry during June 2022 over previous month.
Scopio Labs posted 4 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Abbott Laboratories with 2 jobs and a flat growth. Sysmex with 2 IT jobs and Agilent Technologies with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 100% rise, respectively, while MyHeritage recorded a 100% increase with 2 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Middle East & Africa’s medical industry
Israel commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 68.42% share in June 2022, an 8.33% increase over May 2022. Kuwait featured next with a 10.53% share, up 100% over the previous month. United Arab Emirates recorded a 5.26% share, a flat growth compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.89%, down by 21.43% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 26.32% share, registered a growth of 150% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 15.79% share, up 50% over May 2022.
