Poland’s medical industry registered a 20.7% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 9.82% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 16.42% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 1.11% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Poland’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry in August 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 48.44% in August 2022, registering a 50.79% decline over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 26.56% share, an increase of 13.33% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 14.06%, registering a 40% decline from July 2022.

4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 10.94%, up 600% over the previous month.

Top five medical companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 31.76% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s medical industry during August 2022 over July 2022.

Demant posted 44 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a drop of 40.54% over the previous month, followed by Arjo with 5 jobs and a flat growth. Smith & Nephew with 4 IT jobs and Koninklijke Philips with 3 jobs, recorded a 50% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Alcon recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during August 2022.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.88%, down by 24.59% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 25% share, registered a decline of 44.83% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 1.56% share, down 80% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.56%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
