US-based company ResMed’s IT hiring rose 13.6% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 2.22% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 24.17% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 2.2% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops ResMed IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by ResMed, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 79.59% in August 2022, and a 62.5% rise over July 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 10.2% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 28.57%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.16% in August 2022, a 300% rise from July 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at ResMed
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in August 2022 with a 42.86% share, which marked a 61.54% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 34.69%, registering a 19.05% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 20.41% share and a 66.67% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.04% and a month-on-month flat growth.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 34.69% share in August 2022, a 19.05% decline over July 2022. India featured next with a 30.61% share, up 25% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 12.24% share, an increase of 200% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead ResMed IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.27%, flat growth from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 28.57% share, a growth of 100% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.16% share, up 100% over July 2022.
