The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.82% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 10.13% share in the company’s total hiring activity in March 2022, and recorded a 1.01% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in March 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 64.75% in March 2022, and a 9.63% drop over February 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 14.18% in March 2022, and registered growth of 37.04%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 8.81% in March 2022, a 21.05% rise from February 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in March 2022 with a 51.34% share, which marked a 23.43% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 29.12%, registering a 5.56% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 17.62% share and a 21.05% rise over February 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.15% and a month-on-month flat growth. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.77%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 45.21% share in March 2022, a 26.71% decline over February 2022. India featured next with a 15.33% share, down 2.44% over the previous month. China recorded a 7.66% share, an increase of 66.67% compared with February 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring activity in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 54.41%, down by 12.35% from February 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.14% share, a decline of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 21.46% share, up 12% over February 2022.
