The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.86% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 8.97% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2022, and recorded a 0.11% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in September 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 58.94% in September 2022, and a 3.97% drop over August 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 14.23% in September 2022, and registered growth of 2.94%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 10.98% in September 2022, a 10% drop from August 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in September 2022 with a 58.94% share, which marked a 3.57% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 26.42%, registering a 20.37% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.63% share and a 37.93% drop over August 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 55.28% share in September 2022, a 10.57% growth over August 2022. India featured next with a 14.63% share, up 44% over the previous month. China recorded a 4.88% share, an increase of 50% compared with August 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring activity in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.28%, down by 9.33% from August 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.76% share, a growth of 19.15% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 21.95% share, down 1.82% over August 2022.
