The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 4.92% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
IT jobs claimed an 11.01% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.65% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 65% in February 2022, and an 11.65% drop over January 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 12.5% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 12.5%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.64% in February 2022, a 49.06% drop from January 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 61.43% share, which marked a 3.91% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 25.36%, registering a 35.45% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.21% share and a 37.29% drop over January 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 56.43% share in February 2022, a 1.86% decline over January 2022. India featured next with a 14.29% share, down 28.57% over the previous month. China recorded a 4.29% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.07%, down by 28.31% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.71% share, a decline of 8.86% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 17.86% share, flat growth over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.36%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
