US-based company Thermo Fisher Scientific’s IT hiring rose 34.9% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 26.51% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 9.04% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.85% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring in June 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Thermo Fisher Scientific, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 52.98% in June 2022, and a 247.83% rise over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 17.88% in June 2022, and registered growth of 440%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 12.25% in June 2022, a 362.5% rise from May 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at Thermo Fisher Scientific
North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 42.05% share, which marked a 135.19% rise over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 37.42%, registering a 527.78% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 19.54% share and a 321.43% rise over May 2022.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.66% and a month-on-month flat growth. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 0.33%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 38.74% share in June 2022, a 154.35% growth over May 2022. India featured next with a 23.84% share, up 1100% over the previous month. China recorded a 6.95% share, an increase of 320% compared with May 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Thermo Fisher Scientific IT hiring activity in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.87%, up by 372.73% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 22.19% share, a growth of 219.05% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.94% share, up 28.57% over May 2022.
