Avinger has received the CE mark for its Ocelot catheter, designed to treat peripheral artery disease.

The product uses Avinger's proprietary peripheral catheter designs incorporated with real-time optical coherence tomography.

Ocelot is used for accessing discrete regions of the peripheral vasculature while simultaneously providing optical coherence tomography visualisation for navigation through arteries.

The company is currently enrolling patients in the VISTA study, designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Ocelot in patients with peripheral artery disease.
