Phase 2 Medical Manufacturing has been acquired by Nexcore Technology, a contract manufacturer of electro-mechanical capital equipment.

The acquisition of the target company, which manufactures single-use instruments and disposable medical devices, enables Nexcore to offer comprehensive solutions and to become a single source of supply for a variety of complex manufacturing and service needs.

In a $224.42m deal, personal protective equipment provider SanCheong has been sold to software developer Hancom.

Hancom plans to apply its internet of things (IoT) or fire-sensing technology, and other software capabilities to SanCheong’s protective equipment to develop innovative products and to overcome functional limitations of the existing personal protective equipment.

SanCheong’s product line includes self-contained breathing apparatus, mask, and fire-fighting suits.
