Specialty manufacturer Teleflex has acquired medical equipment manufacturer NeoTract for $1.1bn.

Specialty manufacturer Teleflex has acquired medical equipment manufacturer NeoTract for $1.1bn.

The acquisition will provide Teleflex with access to NeoTract’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved UroLift System.

Both the companies involved in the acquisition are based in the US.

Boston Scientific Corp plans to acquire Apama Medical Inc for $300m with the aim of strengthening its electrophysiology portfolio.

Both the acquirer and target companies are located in the US.

Diversified industrial company NN Inc has acquired precision medical instruments manufacturer DRT Medical LLC from DRT Holdings Inc.

The acquisition will strengthen the acquirer company’s life sciences portfolio.

Both companies involved in the purchase are based in the US.

Minimally invasive medical device developer EnteroMedics Inc has acquired ReShape Medical Inc from HealthCor Partners Fund II LP and Endeavour Medtech GP Limited.

The acquisition, made through the company’s subsidiaries Nixon Subsidiary Inc (Merger Sub) and Nixon Subsidiary Holdings LLC (Sub LLC), will strengthen EnteroMedics’ minimally invasive products portfolio.
