Its KC Wearable Smart Helmet features a fast-scanning infrared camera which is linked to an augmented reality (AR) headset and allows users to measure the temperature of up to 13 people at once in real time. As fever is a key symptom of Covid-19, this could help authorities to identify infected people and ask them to leave busy public spaces. KC is in talks with various other public authorities across the continent.
Retired nurses and healthcare professionals represented by the Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) have urged for better personal protective equipment (PPE) to safeguard caregivers from the spread of Covid-19.
