Presented annually, the Red Dot Award is divided into three design sections. In terms of cross-border and sector reach, it is considered the most distinguished accolade for high quality design.
Fifty-six nations submitted nearly 5,000 entries, and designs were selected that displayed characteristics of quality and innovation.
Designs that clearly differ from comparable designs were awarded a prize.
The 38 members of the international jury were impressed by the Merck Serono fertility pens 1.0 / 1.1 and 2.0, the biopharmaceutical business of Merck, presented by Haselmeier and were awarded the Red Dot certificate of quality for outstanding design.
