Accumold Marketing Team Opens 2013 with Two Stops on West Coast Before Heading to Germany
SPIE Photonics West, the world’s largest biomedical optic and biophotonics exhibition, is the first event in what will be another busy year’s schedule of travel for the Accumold crew. This year’s SPIE Photonics West begins Feb. 2nd and runs for five days. It is the" most influential conference for biophotonics and biomedical optics, high-power laser manufacturing, optoelectronics, micro-fabrication and green photonics," according to sponsors. Like last year’s event, it will be at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The Medical Design and Manufacturing West Exposition and Conference is next up, scheduled for Feb. 12th – 14th in Anaheim, Calif. MD&M West gathers hundreds of medical technology leaders and practitioners from around the world to share best practices and innovations that will transform the future of medical devices.
"We had a couple of weeks’ turn-around time between SPIE Photonics West and MD&M West last year. The fact they’re much closer together, coupled with the Feb. 26th – 28th run of MEDTEC Europe 2013 puts some heavy demands on our marketing team, but our commitment to have a strong presence at all three events just affirms that they’re the best of the best. When it comes to connecting with the industry leaders in these fields and showing what Accumold can do, these three expos are a fantastic way to start the year," said marketing director Aaron Johnson.
MEDTEC Europe 2012 attracted thousands of the medical field’s top production experts, designers, engineers, decision makers and other professionals from 32 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas. "There’s no doubt, it’s the world’s creme of the crop in the medical technology sector," Johnson said.
Since its inception in 1985, Accumold’s mission has been the production of super-micro, ultra-precision, plastic injection-molded parts. Parts manufactured by the firm are critical components of the medical, automotive, military, aerospace and telecommunications industries. They can be found in micro-electronics, cell phones, telecommunications, surgical tools, hearing aids, medical devices, antennas, connectors and more. To produce those parts, Accumold builds specialised molding machines engineered to handle volumes from prototypes to millions per year while maintaining consistent, precise tolerances that are unique in the industry.
