The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 2.37% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Abbott Laboratories IT hiring in August 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Abbott Laboratories, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 40.91% in August 2021, and a 7.35% drop over July 2021, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 16.23% in August 2021, and registered growth of 31.58%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 14.94% in August 2021, a 15% rise from July 2021.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 17.53%, registering a 22.73% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 13.64% share and a 41.67% drop over July 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 3.25% and a month-on-month increase of 25%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.3%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 62.34% share in August 2021, a 5.88% decline over July 2021. Ireland featured next with a 5.19% share, down 38.46% over the previous month. India recorded a 4.55% share, an increase of 250% compared with July 2021.
Junior Level jobs lead Abbott Laboratories IT hiring activity in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.48%, down by 2.73% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.18% share, a decline of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.34% share, up 46.15% over July 2021.
