China’s medical industry registered a 5.6% drop in IT hiring activity in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 10.95% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.19% share in February 2022, recording an increase of 0.76% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in China’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry in February 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 84.48% in February 2022, registering a 23.44% decline over the previous month.
2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 6.9% share, a decrease of 63.64% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.17%, registering an 82.35% decline from January 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 1.72%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in China’s IT recruitment activity in February 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 2.56% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s medical industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Danaher posted 14 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a drop of 12.5% over the previous month, followed by Thermo Fisher Scientific with 12 jobs and a 33.33% drop. Winner Medical Group with 7 IT jobs and SonoScape Medical with 4 jobs, recorded a 600% growth and a flat growth, respectively, while PerkinElmer recorded a decline of 25% with 3 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.03%, down by 40.51% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10.34% share, registered a decline of 50% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.62% share, down 28.57% over January 2022.
