Shore Capital Partners, a healthcare private equity firm, has sold ClearPath Diagnostics, a laboratory diagnostics service provider, to Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp).
The acquisition will combine the acquirer’s comprehensive women's health service offering with ClearPath’s local expertise to offer best in-class treatment for LabCorp’s obstetric and gynaecology customers.

In a move expand its ophthalmic product portfolio, specialty surgical developer, Katena Products, has acquired Eagle Vision, a dry eye care and punctal plugs products developer based in Chicago, US.
The acquisition is the second important addition to Katena in 2016 and is a part of its strategy to serve its customers better by expanding its existing product lines and through additional acquisitions.
Compass Health Brands, a medical equipment manufacturer based in Ohio, US, has completed the purchase of Garden City Medical, a subsidiary of Invacare Corporation and distributor of single-use products, in a $13.8m cash transaction.
The acquisition enables Compass Health to deliver better value to its customers by offering its products at lower prices.
