Gorman-Rupp Industries have been providing innovative pumping solutions for more than 50-years. Gorman-Rupp Industries is an OEM driven manufacturer of fluid handling pumps and pumping systems. Since 1953, GRI's innovative pumping concepts and pump designs have revolutionised how fluids are moved within a diverse range of applications worldwide. Our range of fluid handling pumps and pumping systems include:
Our goal is to meet your special needs, whether it is modifying a current product or designing a new pump according to your exact specifications. Our technical sales staff and engineering departments are uniquely structured to quickly evaluate your application and create a solution specific to your pumping needs. BELLOWS METERING PUMPS Bellows metering pumps operate on a positive displacement principle. Pumps are designed to displace both corrosive and noncorrosive fluids. Discharge pressure is maintained over the entire flow range of the pump. These pumps have poppet valves to prevent backflow and springs are available to provide a positive shutoff, preventing siphoning through the pump in applications where a positive suction head exists. PISTON DIAPHRAGM PUMPS Piston diaphragm pumps are positive displacement pumps designed to economically transfer small volumes of fluid at low discharge pressures. The lightweight, compact pumps are self-priming, corrosion resistant and can handle viscous fluids. These features make the pumps ideal for high volume copy machines, scientific and laboratory instruments and other chemical dispensing applications. OSCILLATING PUMPS AND OSCILLATING DIAPHRAGM PUMPS Oscillating pumps are self-priming and corrosion resistant. They have no dynamic seals and are constructed from FDA accepted materials. Typical applications include:
Oscillating diaphragm pumps are self-priming, corrosion resistant, have no dynamic seals and are constructed from FDA accepted materials. These pumps are intended for replenishing, transfer and circulating installations. CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS AND MAGNETIC DRIVE PUMPS Centrifugal pumps are designed to transfer both corrosive and non-corrosive fluids at maximum hydraulic efficiencies. Centrifugal pumps are not self-priming so must be used in applications where flooded suction exists. These pumps cannot be run dry. Operation of our magnetic pumps is similar to standard centrifugal pumps, except the impeller is driven with a magnetic coupling, eliminating the need for a shaft seal. Magnetic drive pumps must be used where flooded suction exists. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE CHARTS The chemical resistance charts provide ratings to reveal which chemicals work best with specific materials. These ratings have been developed from technical publications, material suppliers and laboratory tests, and are presented for your evaluation and not as a guarantee. Our staff will help determine material selections for testing. MEDICAL PUMP APPLICATIONS: GRI's custom OEM designs offer superior chemical resistance; accuracy and contamination-free designs are successful in applications such as:
ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTATION PUMP APPLICATIONS: The reliable and accurate, chemical-resistant pumps that GRI offers in combination with their customer designs are ideal for:
