Design services
PRE-CONSTRUCTION DESIGN: Providing wholesale design packages to be used to tender against, or move directly into the construction phase. Compiled from client User Requirement Specification (URS) or from discussions and site surveys.
CONCEPT DESIGN: For clients that are in the exploratory phase of their cleanroom project planning, Guardtech can produce packages that consider a number of early-stage concept designs that can be reviewed prior to moving to pre-construction design.
POST-CONSTRUCTION: For facilities that have been established for some years, drawings may be outdated or lost. Guardtech can attend site, conduct a survey and compile drawings, O&M manuals, specifications and suggest potential upgrades.
Structural installation
Guardtech’s Installation Engineers are a dedicated team that exclusively undertakes cleanroom construction nationwide. Professionally trained in clean building techniques, the benefit to clients is quick, clean and consistent installations, conducted by a flexible and friendly team which thrives on problem-solving, high-quality presentation and exceeding client expectations. Guardtech Installation Engineers undertake the following duties:
STRUCTURAL: Panels, Ceilings, Doors, Glazing, Cladding, Coving, Mezzanines
FINISHING: Vinyl Floor Laying, Furniture Installation, Silicone Sealing
Guardtech coordinates all aspects of every cleanroom build they undertake, including the implementation of all services. With an in-house Electrical Division, most M&E services are conducted by the Guardtech team, supported by some long-term partners for specialist services. Guardtech can include the following M&E services to their scope of supply for any project:
ELECTRICAL: Lighting, Small Power & 3Phase, Data Installations, Plant Connections & Door Interlocks
HVAC & FILTRATION: From full-scale, bespoke Air Handling Units to Upflow units and small Split Systems including all ductwork
GAS SERVICES: Process Gases, Compressed Air, Extraction & Vacuum including all Pipe/Ductwork and ring mains
MONITORING: Fully Networked Environmental Monitoring System with IT integration with CFR21 compliance, BMS
WATER: Purified and Process Hot Water, Drainage, Plumbing Connections
Commissioning
From commissioning a new-build cleanroom to service, maintenance, testing & validation of existing controlled environments, the Guardtech Service Department support ongoing compliance in all cGMP & ISO14644 classified cleanrooms.
ISO14644:1-15 Validation: Airborne Particle Counts, Airflow Volume Measurements, Pressure Differential Testing, Temperature, Humidity & Lux Level Recording, ISO Certification and Full Validation Report.
Environment Qualification: Design Qualification (DQ) conducted by in-house Design Team, Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) conducted by the Services Department.
Facility Decontamination: Builders’ Cleans, Pre-Validation Cleans, Biocidal / Sporicidal Cleans. Range of contract options: annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly or daily. Cleanliness Verification tests conducted and full reporting.
Maintenance: Service Visits and Maintenance Contracts for cleanroom plant including Filtration, HVAC, Compressed Air, Extraction and other Mechanical Services.
All work conducted is followed by detailed reporting in line with ISO14644-1:2015 standards and cGMP guidelines, ensuring client facilities are audit-ready and compliant with the requirements of regulatory bodies.
