MicroCare Appoints a New Director of Manufacturing

MicroCare LLC, an expert in critical cleaning, coating and lubricating chemistries, announces the appointment of a new Director of Manufacturing to oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing group.

Brian Donnelly is an exceptionally experienced production specialist with a proven track record in the sector, having spent his 20-year career across several manufacturing industries. These include consumer beverages, tire manufacturing, magnet wire/non-ferrous metals and, most recently, overseeing high volume latex processing. He has led large teams in all aspects of manufacturing, where he has worked to improve effectiveness and employee engagement.

The newly established position of Director of Manufacturing will see Donnelly lead multiple manufacturing teams across several MicroCare facilities. He will ensure colleagues successfully meet goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost.

As a highly motivated professional with a desire to bring his expertise in manufacturing operations to the company, Donnelly is looking forward to his future at MicroCare.

“I am excited to join the MicroCare team,” he said. “The team has been very welcoming and open to new ideas about how we can drive excellence in manufacturing.

“Everyone understands the potential of what we can achieve as a business, and is an active participant in turning that opportunity into a reality.”

Another important responsibility for Donnelly is to focus on the professional development of MicroCare manufacturing technicians, specialists, leads and supervisors to encourage career growth.

With experience in driving operational excellence through advanced production process techniques, including lean and Six Sigma, Donnelly will play an active role in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives at MicroCare manufacturing facilities.

Donnelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and is certified as a Green Belt in Six Sigma.
